Yogi Baby

Today we went to yoga class, of sorts. I think yogish is a better way to describe it. Before we left, Sam spent a little time practicing his downdog. Here he's multitasking with doing down dog and his puzzle. It's a handy posture all in all, good for wiping his butt on the rare occasion he uses the toilet.

We didn't have much fun at yoga class today because he was obsessed with the possessions of others. I spent a good portion of the class trying to keep him from absconding with the other kids yoga mats and toys. I'm not sure what's up with this although I think he might have been hungry. After class he ate a banana, a couple ounces of cheese, some "people cereal" aka soilent green aka Mightybites and then we went home where he had some meatloaf, peas and carrots and crackers.

I realized after we left that there is only one other boy in the class and he's a bit younger than Sam. The girls seem so well behaved compared to Sam and I don't know if it's gender-based or Sam's personity. But in the end, he got to enjoy his favorite part of the class...the highpoint of the studio...the long hallways! All that space to run.
