"Feed old people"

That's what Sam says we did today. The three of us did a delivery route for Meals on Wheels this morning and let's just say he didn't love the part that required him to sit in his carseat while one of us ventured to the door. In the pouring rain. He joined us for deliveries in a couple of senior living places where there was more than one person receiving meals. In order to motivate him to move we used two strategies - allowing him to push the elevator buttons and racing him to the door. We were lucky we weren't cited for disturbing the peace. Unfortunately Sam wasn't into charming people today so he wasn't chatting with people or giving them big old smiles. Perhaps part of that was because he's come down with a cold but what is unusual about this is that I think I gave this one to him instead of him passing it on to me. Somehow it doesn't feel like revenge though as when he's sick, I suffer.

I've been remiss in posting the lastest "frogpole" pictures so here they are at day 11. That was two days ago and we headed over there in the rain. Of course. The rain. Is there anything else lately? I'd say they're about twice the size they were the last time I was there and it occurred to me that I should be including something in the pictures for perspective but you're all out of luck. But today I decided to give a tour of the area where these tadpoles are growing since it's a very nice little nature area stuck in the middle of Burlington. Gratuitous Samshots included of course.
