Where does it come from?

There were thunderstorms here yesterday or, as we call them around our house, tinklestorms due to Kirby’s unfortunate reaction to said storms. This is the first time Sam was actually aware of this type of weather and we were on our neighbor’s screen porch watching the weather. Thunder rolled in and Sam was amazed. “Where is the thunder mama?” How should I answer that? I told him it was in the sky. Then there was a flash of lightning. “Where is the flashlight mama?”
