Sam's definition of freedom

These are the freedoms most important to Sam:

Freedom to not nap.

Freedom to eat all the candy in the world.

Freedom to mess with the camera(s) "I take a picture!"

Freedom to drink all the juice he can.

Freedom to bolt to freedom no matter where he is.

Did I mention Freedom not to nap? It took him about an hour and a half to finally settle down and go to sleep although it does have it's advantages for me since he's stuck in his room during that transitionary period so it's added some extra free time to my day. We're doing a late nap today in hopes of having him be somewhat human this evening so we can go see some fireworks with some friends. We watched bits and pieces of Burlington's fireworks from our bedroom window last night and that reassured him that they're not very scary and that they make the sky pink.

We went to a small town parade this morning so some images of the day for your enjoyment.

No oxen. They weren't "coming right at me" this year so they were of much less interest.
