I know I’m getting old when I start wondering about the latest fashions…or the ones I see around here which are likely in no way related to the latest fashions. Here are some examples:
The double tank top. Why? If it’s hot enough to wear a tank top, the last thing I want to do is add more fabric to the mix. It’s not as though wearing an extra tank top makes the rolls go away either so if that’s the justification photographic evidence should be provided to the offenders.
Those stupid ugly as sin spandex goucho thingys. That picture shows a particularly bad pair in a really ugly color to boot but the ones I see around town are usually black. I'm not sure why these bug me so much but I suspect it's because I've never seen any that flatter anyone. Ever. Not that gouchos are ever a good look but these are particularly stunningly awful.
And could someone please explain Crocs to me? Don't say they're comfortable because how can they possibly be comfortable to everyone under the sun? My main problem with them is that when you're wearing them, the only thing I notice about you is your feet. But if you're wearing a double tank and spandex goucho thingys that may be a very good thing.
Then again, there are the nostalgia items that are making yet another trip through the fashion scene - Frye boots anyone? I wanted a pair of these when I was a kid but alas, I didn't have the money to buy them. Now I look at them and think there is probably another generation of girls out there who are pining for a pair but can't pull it together with their limited babysitting funds.

I HATE CROCS!!! YOU CANT SWING A DEAD CAT WITHOUT HITTING SOMEONE WEARING THEM. Okay, I'll stop yelling now. I look at those things, and immediately imagine the feel of your legs if you are wearing shorts and sit on a vinyl chair when it's 90 degrees outside.
LOL! That is my thought about them, too. I actually like the bright colors, though.
What are frye boots?

I can't believe you don't remember these!
