It's only 10 questions

I never do this stuff but I'm out of inspiration and never really did a profile so here you go, useless information about me. It has to do with doing crafts, you know, those things lots of people do to fill their free time instead of blogging. I like it because it's only 10 questions and at least some of them entertain me.

Feel free to answer any and all of the questions yourself in the comments section....

1. What is your craft, & how long have you been doing it?

Craft? I’m supposed to be crafty? Does baking count? I can do all sorts of crafty things quite poorly (evidence Poof the Magic Dragon) and nothing particularly well.

2. Are you a vegan, vegetarian, veg-curious, veg-friendly or other?

Other. I’d be perfectly happy if vegetables didn’t exist except as flavoring agents. I’d be perfectly happy if meat didn’t exist except as a flavoring agent. That leaves the the all-important food groups: starch, cheese, and junkfood which are often but not always vegetarian. I have absolutely no interest in being vegan.

3. What is your favorite color(s)? Do you particularly dislike a color(s)?

I like warm colors, reds, oranges, and yellows. Think the colors of a maple tree in the fall. They make me happy. I’m not fond of grey. It’s a cold mean practical color perfect only for sweatpants, smoke, and cement.

4. Do you have any allergies (such as pets, foods or cigarette smoke)?

I wish I was allergic to kitty litter so someone else would have to clean the litterbox.

5. Do you have any companion animals? If so, names and types?

We’ve got two cats, Mo and Lola, who pretty much ignore us unless they’re hungry or in Lola’s case, wants to chew on us a bit.

6. Do you collect anything?

Not of my own. I seem to collect toys for Sam, you know, the ones he leaves lying all over the house. I take that back. I seem to have a collection of exercise tapes that I sometimes use. It's not for the sake of collecting though, it's because I'm easily bored.

7. Do you have a favorite vegan food, snack or dish? If no fav that's vegan (for those who aren't vegan), what's your favorite food? (Hopefully your pal can find a vegan version!)

Vegan? If someone could find a vegan pizza that tastes anything like the real thing I might recommend it. My general recommendation for vegans is to loosen up and live a little. You’ll get lots more dinner invitations that way.

8. What tools/supplies/accessories for your craft(s) are you wishing you had but don't? Also, what do you have TOO many of? (basically a wish and anti-wish list)

If baking is my “craft” then I’ve got too many pans but at the same time I never have the pan I need for whatever I happen to be making. How can that be possible?

9. What type of handmade item would tickle your fancy? What don't you like?

I like it when people give me things they’ve made because it’s something they love doing and do well. Things that are knitted, quilted, drawn or carved all qualify in that regard. I don’t particularly love getting baked goods as a gift because I kinda like doing it myself.

10. Is there anything else you would like your pals to know about you?

I’ll let you know if I think there is something really really important. Don’t hold your breath.

Sadly...there probably is a vegan pizza out there somewhere. Soy cheese anyone?

Beth, that's the reason the I liked this particular one. Who would come up with a bizzare combination of vegan crap and crafts?

Besides, other ones I've seen are things like "100 things you don't know about me" and frankly, I get bored reading other people's lists. None of these should ever have more than 10 questions.

Lisa, there is definitely vegan pizza but blech, who'd want it?
