Here's what somewhere between two and three feet of snow looks like when there is almost no place to put the snow. The stacks on either side of the driveway are taller than me which made for some very fun shoveling.
A friend may email me some pictures she took of the neighborhood kids on the pile of snow formed at the end of the street. There is a basketball hoop there, regulation height, that is now accessible to the smallest toddler and it makes a great sledding hill because our street slopes downward and you can get some excellent distance. Of course I tried it! What do you think I am, an adult?
I've also got a case of carpal shovel syndrome, a variation of carpal tunnel caused by shoveling, hopefully temporary. I'm sore all over too. Many many hours of shoveling over the past couple days.

This sucks! Sure is pretty though.
And NO - the snowplow has still not visited our street, not even once. And yes, it IS after 7 pm on Thursday!
Umm...we had some flurries last night.
Did they cancel school Lisa?
