Signs of Florida

We like to come up with a theme for each vacation we take. Sometimes it is something as simple as finding ZOTS wherever we go. On this vacation we couldn't resist the unusual signage we found throughout the area and we didn't even take any pictures of the various church signs, not even the biggest cross we'd ever seen. Ok, we admit, we were just too slow on the draw. But here you go, Florida signage.

The first day we were there we went to a nice little park in the middle of town. But parks in FL are obviously used somewhat differently than those here in Vermont.
There are the signs that made us scratch our heads.
Of course, there are amusing signs associated with tourist attractions.
Then of course there is advertising. Lots and lots of advertising. And a bit more advertising.

I'm sure all the international visitors to the Orlando area are very impressed with the class and style of the American people.

Thanks! These are great!

I saw a good sign at the Calusa Nature Center in Fort Myers, but didn't bring a camera. It said: "Enjoy your nature walk but remember that insects sting, animals bite, and you could fall off the boardwalk and suffer an injury."
