It's a small world after all

Yesterday as Sam and I were waiting to order our sandwiches, we ran into the reporter who had covered the WackyBarb story. He remembered me and told me that the creosote she mixed up was about 100x the concentration used on telephone poles. He also told me that WhackyBarb is related to his wife's cousin and that she has a somewhat similar demeanor to WhackyBarb. He said his wife got quite an earful after the story ran.

That's not all of course. The cousin is also relatively high in state government so I might run into her at some point in the future.

Oh, the joys of small towns.
