We're back from WI and there was a running theme through our visit. It can be seen in nearly every picture; can you find it?
Bunny flies faster than Sam.
We visit Bay Beach and he generally follows his passion.Oops, his passion was not available in the politically incorrect ride. He's the only kid that sighted in his gun. Wonder where he learned that? We very nearly didn't ride the ferris wheel because it didn't meet his criteria but he eventually relented and screamed with excitement on each rotation. We visit the ducks and Sam wears his passion while feeding the ducks in baseball bat fashion.
The geese sit on it.
This is Sampassionless but it's funny anyway.
We make fire and Sam wears his passion.
Fire poking stick.Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...
A good picture of my parents by the fire except that it looks as though they're avoiding each other. They're not.
The frogs reflect Sam's passion. An hour after I took this picture I walked through again and chickie frog had somehow made it back up on the pole.
Sam did a bit of acorn planting to make sure that he'll encounter more of his passion in the future.Sam was able to look past the near lack of his passion on the front cover of this book to determine that it was his new favorite book.Have you figured it out yet? It's GREEN! He picked up another pair of green socks with the Green Bay Packer logo "my new favorite socks!" and a green tee shirt thanks to my mom.
He learned that if mom and dad say no, he can ask gram and grandpa....
He learned that Chili John's Chili makes your mouth hurt but it tastes good anyway.
He tasted Coke for the first time. Gee, he liked it. Who would have guessed?
We're telling him that cereal straws are available only in WI.
He thinks that Gram and Grandpa are in WI and that that's the only thing that's in WI. He told us he wanted to go to WI when he was ready to leave whatever it is we were doing.
Fried perch. Mmmmmm.
Fresh squeaky cheese curds. Mmmmmm.
Krolls hamburgers. Mmmmmmm.
Mom's cookies. Mmmmmmmm.
Wait, those all seem to be food-oriented things. We ate a lot in WI, I think it's mandatory. We visited friends... and ate. Relatives visited so we ate.
I think I gained five pounds.
And an aside.
While we were there I measured Sam. He's 41 inches tall and 41 pounds.

that was a very quick week.....oh, and i'm keeping my eyes open for green socks, but you are right, they don't seem to exist.
41 inches tall, and 41 pounds. Does that make him square? It makes my head hurt!
