Yesterday when I picked Sam up from school all the little kids were doing yoga with one of the teachers. At the end she put her hands up to her heart in prayer position and said "Namaste", a very typical ending to a yoga session.
When I've done yoga with Sam I've just ohmed, haven't done any chanting or even said "namaste"; I'd just never thought of it.
Last night as I was putting him to bed he said "Not mistake."
??
He put his hands in prayer position and repeated "Not mistake."
"Not mistake to you too little one."
Definitely not a mistake.
I started doing a chant I'd learned (in part) in yoga class and he got all excited and wanted me to play it for him. I can't even remember the name of the chant I was doing but if I find it, I wonder if he'll still be interested?

Love the twist on namaste! It reminds me of how Loretta's husband says "no mustard."
