My kid has just started a most frustrating stage. He never ever ever wants to be alone. Ever. Bathroom? Nope. Getting dressed? Nope. Going upstairs to get a toy? Nope. Eating dinner? Nope. And get this one...watching TV? NOPE! This morning he cried and cried when I wouldn't go upstairs with him to get his stuffed moose.
He says "I'm scared!" but when asked to elaborate he just says "I don't want to be by myself."
I wish he'd accept one of his stuffed friends as a stand in but that doesn't seem to work. Daddy works fine but Daddy is working all the time right now so is not available.
I'm seeking volunteers for VelcroBoo. Anyone?

Um, no thank you?
My theory is that he just doesn't have the RIGHT stuffed animal. If he had a "quatermass," he wouldn't ever miss his parents!
And no, he can't have MY quatermass...
