Merry Christmas!

We did very little. Lots of lazing which is always nice. Way too much food of course. Some good friends.

Of course there were presents.

Sam did well, probably too well. He's awash in excellent presents.

First there was the stocking. Look, a sock full of candy! And socks! That Santa is so practical. Good thing there was candy in there or Sam would have starved on Christmas Day.

He got lots of other goodies including a pirate hat and sword.

Things were not limited to pirates though - Ben decided they needed these:

Remote control trucks. Ben got one for Sam, one for himself and they played remote control tag until the batteries died. Tip: buy stock in Duracell.

He also got an inner tube for sledding and a snowball maker. We had to try those out right away of course so off we went to do a bit of sledding and have a snowball fight. The snowball maker that doesn't really work as you can see from this little movie of Sam throwing a snowball (he needs practice and maybe lessons but not from me, I throw like a girl)
