I have been painting my office. Now, I can't do such things alone of course, I need a helper or an antihelper, whichever you believe is more accurate. He's working on his whirling whirlpool at the moment but was very disappointed when I painted over it. I tried to convince him that it was good that his picture is under the paint and that it'll always be there but he wasn't satisfied. But you all know it's there now.
My god, I let him play with knives, cheese graters, and wall paint. Someone is going to report me to child services.

These two pictures are of the same room taken at the same time and are completely different. I'd say the picture with Sam most accurately represents the color.
I always forget how long it takes to paint something well. I did the ceiling first (of course it ALWAYS takes two coats even though I'm covering white with white and that makes no sense to me) and then two coats of the wall color. It's a very warm and cozy room which is nice in the middle of an infinite Vermont winter. In some ways it's like being in the middle of a pumpkin but without slime.

The shot of Sam is how I pictured it and I think it looks terrific. I can smell the pie cooking all the way over here!
