Beth makes a good point in the comments on the last entry

I did receive more than one chocolate cake for my birthday! Beth made me a beautiful chocolate turtle cake (filled with caramel!) on Sunday. It was yummy! And rich and filling. I should have taken a picture. Beth, if you took one email it to me and I'll post it.

In return, I was cruel and sent her home with a bunch of books.

Oh, and I made pie the other day too.

I think I'm going to need to exercise for the next three months to blast off a few of these cake calories.
