This and that

My friend Rebecca had her baby last night. Mother and baby are doing fine. I told Sam that his friend's Lily and Quinten had a new baby brother and he said "Did he hatch out?"

It appears we've been a bit remiss in our discussions of the birds and the bees. I didn't teach him that babies hatch and although I can't vouch for Ben. Now I can't get the image of a little baby hatching out of an egg. It sounds so Anne Geddes. Oh look, it's been done.

No posts lately because not much has been happening. We got a foot of snow yesterday. Sam might be coming down with an ear infection, Ben and I appear to be getting sick. Slow, dreary, days filled with a grumpy child and the threat of taxes hanging over our heads. It's the time of year when I feel like I'm marking time until spring, when I'm waiting for something to happen.

But it needs to be something good.

awww...sweet baby!

Oh man...a foot of snow would be exciting here, but sounds like you have had it. Maybe a trip to Arkansas is what the doctor ordered? ;-)

sorry you are all getting sick! Stop that!

We did not get a foot of snow yesterday. We got 16.4 inches!

Sorry about the impending colds. But at least if you get sick now, you'll be mostly recovered in time for your birthday. Any plans?
