Kid Art

Sam came home from daycare the other day with a huge stack of pictures he'd done there over the past couple of months. I'm sure he does at least a couple of pictures a day. I don't want to keep all this stuff and he's not really sentimental about it either but there are a couple of them I want to share.

The first picture is salt dough and it doesn't hold up well over time but I love the way the orange blobs run across the page and that little bit of red in with the orange.

They asked him to do a self portrait and it was difficult to get a picture of it and I realize this is hard to see but look! Here's big haired Sam as he sees himself:
Sam gave the originals to Susan today when we met her for lunch and a demonstration of Sam's new biking skills. Others may be mailed if I get motivated to go to the post office and others? Well, they'll be recycled....
