Will he be a better speller than I?

Sam loves a TV show called "Word World" which of course is "Worm World" to us. It's a show about spelling with a ear worm that goes "Welcome to the place where words come alive, let's build a word WORD WORLD."

Today he made something for me:

He told me "It has all the words I know! Here is "hat" and "hats" and "log" and "Mom" and of course "Sam."

I love that he knows how to spell a few words! They sound out words on the show so he's also learning that skill.

After I admired his work he asked "Can I watch a "Worm World" so I can spell more words?"

Um, no, bedtime and all. But I did help him spell train by helping him sound it out. The results?

And he then transferred the word to the Scrabble board that for some unknown Sam like reason was strewn around the floor.
