My niece, Abbie, is six. At the end of the year in kindergarten she suddenly "got" reading which led to entertaining adventures with comic books.
I just got a letter from her and I love how she spells things!
It reads: Deir Anne I hav an Emil Oconte I can only send a Emil to 1 Prsen her name Annabelle can You send me back Your Emil Oconte
But after that I can't quite make out what she's saying, just words here and there. And her (incorrect) email address. It's adorable!
I had to call to ask my sister to send the actual email address because of course I had to email her immediately! Alas, I have not yet heard back from her.
Lisa tells me that when Abbie runs away she knows where she'll go. I love being that Aunt!
