Sam's been going through a very stubborn period. He comes by it honestly so while I understand it, it's no less frustrating.
Mornings are hell. This morning he wanted me to read to him...while I was making lunches, having breakfast, etc.
Then he wanted pancakes for breakfast and lucky for him, I had some in the freezer so I heated them up, put syrup on them, and told him they were on the counter for him. He, of course, didn't think he should have to move his own two feet to get the plate or his fork and knife so I left it there while I continued what I was doing.
Tears, total breakdown, lots of "I want my mommy!" cries. He finally brought it to the table only to start on the next round. "I want more syrup! The stuff that soaked in doesn't taste good." More crying and screaming.
I ignored it, eventually it passed.
I really need to invest in some earplugs.
