Kindergarten seems to have stimulated Sam's imagination and that has lead to an explosion of projects at home. As always, these projects require significant parental assistance. Here is a brief sample of the projects from the last week or so.
Sam wanted to expand the fish theme to the walls of his room -- his view was a lovely panoramic of all things beneath the sea. For some reason I nixed that project but he decided that instead, he'd paint his kitchen with an ocean scene.
(I'm still wondering when we'll be able to get rid of this kitchen because of course he doesn't use it. If I drag my feet about hauling it back inside is there any chance that he'll be ready to let it go?)
Then there is the alas-it-does-not-work paper ball shooting gun. Materials include paper towel roll, toilet paper roll, duct tape, a screw, and wire.
We're also growing rock candy. It's growing much more slowly than expected which may have something to do with constant bumps and movement.
And last but certainly not least, we've got Sam's brand spanking new computer.
Sam is now taking applications for a full time helper to assist in his future endeavors.

love the project phase. Remember when I started a blog just for stuff that Abbie makes. You are welcome to use it, haha. I certainly didn't. But remember? Abbie made a computer too.
