Indoor soccer

Indoor soccer ROCKS! It's 45 minutes of running one day a week and absolutely no practices. Is it selfish that I'm glad there are no practices since that means we're only doing it once a week and we never have to juggle dinner time to make it work?

Today Sam played and he made three goals! He's very proud of himself although I think one of the main reasons they did so well was because the other team was, er, lacking skills.

We also learned that Sam's favorite move, a simultaneous slide and kick move, is not allowed in kindergarten indoor soccer. No one knows exactly why he can't do it but he can't...and today he got a penalty for doing it. He had to sit out for a minute.

I suspect that this is also the only league where the penalty box consist of mom's lap.

The kids are funny though, they're in constant motion even when they're supposed to be standing still. This sequence of pictures was taken over about a 10 second period.
