Surprise discovery

When we bought our house, nearly every surface in the place had been painted, included many of the doors. We did lots of work on the house, including stripping woodwork, when we first bought the place but then I ran out of steam with seven doors still to be stripped. Beth told me about a place where I could take them to be stripped so I could avoid the toxicity of the chemicals, the mess, and the labor. Sam and I dropped the doors off today and look what was in front of the place.
Not only is Dino adorable on his own, but he reminds me of my Grandpa, who worked at a Sinclair station. He used to give us Dino Soap which we loved and my Mom hated because it stained the bathtub green.
Now Dino is a collectible and I'm just old. I wish I would have appreciated my grandparents more when they were alive.

They didn't have a giant dinosaur when I went to Tillotson Trading! I want a do-over!!

Come with me to pick up the doors. He told me he's not selling Dino, that he's keeping him because he likes him and it's good advertising.
