Baker Sam

Baker Sam was baking a pie as fast as he can. He rolled it, and patted it and....

Wait! What is that? It's pie crust spread with butter, then sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, and at Sam's request, spruced up with sprinkles. Sprinkles are Sam's unique addition to this childhood favorite of mine. It's now a favorite of Sam's and since he's going to visit his Aunt Sarah, he wanted to make sure that she knew how to make them with any extra pie crust she might have.

The masterpiece, ready for the next step. And what might that be?

Rolling of course.

Then slicing.

Then baked in the oven with the excuse for making pie crust pinwheels, a chicken pot pie.

And yum! Irresistible tender sweet goodies. That plate will be empty very very quickly!

Send him over. I need someone to make pies for Thanksgiving. Pillsbury might be making mine for the first time.
