- Drop pooch off at vet.
- Drive drive drive.
- Bribe Sam with food to be quiet.
- Drive drive drive.
- Meet Ben's ex-girlfriend, she's very nice.
- Meet Ben's ex-girlfriends son, daughter, sister, neice, nephew, son in law and parents. They're very nice.
- Drive drive drive.
- Talk about Ben's ex-girlfriend. He reminds me she's a clinical psychologist. I'm glad I didn't remember it when I met her.
- Bribe Sam with food to be quiet.
- Get to Kevin and Peggy's house.
- Eat very good Thai food and drink beer.
- Listen to Kevin's suggestion for keeping yourself entertained during long drives. It involves adding the word "anal" in front of the name of the car and then deciding if the phrase is the title of a movie or a medical procedure. Ford seems to have the more interesting names, most foreign cars are boring. But once you start it's hard to drive down the road and not think about it.
- Sleep sleep sleep.
- Eat good bagels drink lots of coffee.
- Drive drive drive.
- Pick up part one of Ben's mother's cupboard at her sister's house. Our real reason for the trip is was to collect the cupboard.
- Drive drive drive.
- Pick up part two of Ben's mother's cupboard at her brother's house.
- Visit with Ben's aunt and uncle for a bit while allowing Sam to try to climb some huge trees.
- Drive drive drive.
- Drive drive drive.
- Drive drive drive.
- Pick up dog.
- Let kid run around until bedtime, crash early.
So the weekend was crazed and I'm working today and tomorow while trying to get packed to leave Wed. morning for a week. The house is a disaster, I've got a ton to do to get packed, figure out how to keep Sam from driving fellow passengers crazy on the plane (junk food and a few small toys better work), and make arrangements for pets. And I ended up working late.
I really have no idea how people who have kids and work full time ever get anything done.

so does this mean we get no amusing blog postings for a week? you'd better be packing a laptop....
Blog entries are going to be few and far between because in WI I'll have DIAL UP! Oh no! And no laptop, Ben is bringing it with him on his motorcycle trip around the world. If I get a chance I'll blog. Oh, and if I have something to say....not that I always do anyway.
Ben is taking a computer on his motorcycle trip?!! That's one BIG motorcycle!
Boston sounds not so bad. How can you argue with bagels and Thai food?
