Final Verdict

Three fractures of the left foot, none displaced. He's to use it with care and not do anything that can break it further. 4-8 weeks to heal, he'll probably be able to walk without limping in about two weeks. Over the counter pain killers as necessary.

They could put a splint on him but said that would immobilize him and it wasn't really necessary. Since it would make all of us miserable if he couldn't move around I opted to just leave it as it is and see if we can make him take it easy.

Yeah, no problem with that, eh?

He doesn't believe that he broke his foot because he can't see it. He didn't love his hospital adventure because he was hungry! It's good to see he's got priorities.

I saw this after my e-mail to you. Poor little guy.I guess you will just have to spend the next few weeks reading to him. LOL Does he seem to be in much pain? Wish I was there to help out. I love reading to him. May it's time to stock up on DVD's from the library.

I'm shocked he was able to ski with 3 fractures! He should get lots and lots of candy. Tell him I said so!
