"Is today Wednesday?"

That's what we hear every morning. Sam loves Wednesdays; Thursdays are heartbreaking. Is it school or lack there of? Nope, it's not. Is it that we do fun and exciting things on Wednesday? Nope, we don't, usually. What could possibly make Wednesdays the best day of the week?

Ah yes, the ice cream man! And we don't deny him the joy of ice cream characters with disgusting gumball eyes although sometimes we make him put it in the freezer until after dinner. We remember the joy and excitement of the ice cream man.

The ice cream truck shows up at about 6pm every Wednesday and Sam is always the first to hear the distinctive "It's a Small World" tune that plays constantly. I asked the driver if that's the only song the truck plays. Apparently there are 13 different songs but he's afraid that changing the song will impact his business. I bet he hears that song in his sleep.

I hear that damn song in my sleep! The ice cream man comes to Nash Place, too.

Nice Sponge Bob on a stick. I want one! We had something like that when I was a kid, in the supermarket. They were called "Brrr Blobs," and looked kinda like a McDonalds grimace, in a chocolate and vanilla combo. Very yummy.
