Apparently I have a reputation

Unbeknown to me until recently, I am, in the seven and under set, known as the person who can make ANYTHING out of cardboard. I'm not sure what I've done to instill such confidence in my cardboard building abilities. Perhaps it's the kitchen or the dinosaur head or even the assist on the cardboard gun. I suspect though that it's due more to my ability to manufacture swords and shields from cardboard and foil on demand. Or perhaps the real reason for my reputation is my most recent cardboard creation -- double sided light sabers for three. I neglected to take pictures of the double sided light saber triplets but they were good for an hour or so of little boy fun until, predictably, someone got hurt.

The thing is, I'd happily transfer my reputation to someone more interested in process. If you are interested, the reputation is available immediately as there is a backlog of projects just waiting for appropriate cardboard. On Sam's list at the moment is a doll house which sounds relatively doable, a puppet theater, and a dubious-sounding cardboard tree house. I'm sure that Sam would be happy with wooden versions of each so if you prefer to work in wood, please feel free to apply.

Please feel free to submit samples of your work.

jeez, I thought your reputation was someone who could make anything out of sugar, flour, and rice krispies!

Are you kidding me? I've been trying to shake off my reputation for the same thing for years! Why would I want YOURS?? ;-) On a related note, see Facebook for pics for our (wood) treehouse, in progress
