Saturday was a cold but sunny day, a nice fall day for exploring; a perfect day for a trip to the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum.
What does it have? Beautiful location? Of course.
Silly photo opportunities?
Block and tackle lessons complete with an old fashioned crane?
A Vermont-built yellow submarine?
Work opportunities for Sam?
Scary lions?
We also discovered video evidence that our friend Bill helped to build a Revolutionary War gunboat -- in 1991. This provided evidence that Bill had much bigger hair way back then.
Another highlight? Stopping for pumpkins and gourds on the way home for all our Halloween decorating needs.
