Planning planning

Birthday parties. Bah! I'm grumpy about them because they put ideas in Sam's head; ideas I don't necessarily agree with. Shortly after attending a party last weekend Sam started planning for his own birthday. In DECEMBER!

He made two lists, first (of course) the list of things he wants, the second is the list of people he wants to come to his birthday party. They're both extensive lists as you can see.

In case you're wondering what Sam wants for his birthday as of right now, here's his current list. If you choose to get him some of these things I may never forgive you. His goal was to fill up the complete page which isn't exactly the best way to determine gift priorities. I'm sure he can't remember most of these already.

*Make a pond (he wants a pond in our backyard)

Polar Express (tickets for the event)
*Community tank (a bigger fish tank)
*Another fish
*Turtle
*Dog (GACK!)
*Toy boat (I didn't ask if he was looking for one he could ride in -- sometimes it's better not to give him ideas.
*Star Wars Lego set
*Junie B Jones story (Oh, the horrible grammar!)
*Book about Arthur (the weird animal one that also has a TV show)
*Quilt with a picture of the ocean on it
*A few books
*New paint set
*New train set
*New lamp with a picture of the ocean
*Toy farm set
*New curtains with a picture of the ocean
*Velcro board (like at school for math!)
*New pants
*New shirts
*New socks
*New underwear
*Collar
*Dog leash
*Teddy bear
*Blanket
*Sweater
*Notebook
*Colored pencils
*Paper
*Toy airplane
*$100 check
*$1,000 (good luck with this buddy!)
*Magic set
*Plants for fish tank
*Shells for tank

But he keeps bringing up the dog.
