Ben cut down the trees and cut things into generally managable lengths but I dealt with getting rid of all the branches, stacking, and clean up. The only thing left in the yard are the stumps and the stack of wood I made with the larger pieces Ben is planning to split. This is that stack today. Any bets on what the stack will look like when the snow flies?

A bet with myself
We removed two dead elm trees from our backyard recently. I found that Ben became interested in yard work when it included a chain saw and avoided a bill that would have been well over $1,000.

Well, you could rent a hydraulic splitter and do it yourself...
